Job Title: RN CVICU
Location: Cincinnati OH
Type: Contract 8 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift 3x12s 36 Hours/Week Every Other Weekend Required ICU Float Pool (MICU/SICU/CVICU)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN CVICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati OH.

Responsibilities

• Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill patients
• Provide direct patient care in CVICU MICU and SICU float pool settings
• Manage post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients and acute cardiac conditions
• Monitor and manage advanced cardiac devices including Impella IABP ECMO ventricular assist devices and continuous dialysis therapies
• Administer medications hemodynamic monitoring and invasive line management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety initiatives
• Provide culturally competent and age-specific patient and family-centered care

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in ICU/CVICU or related critical care specialty required
• Strong critical thinking and advanced patient assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high-acuity environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to floating between MICU SICU and CVICU units
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional nursing standards
• Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
