Job Summary

Position Overview
United Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join UHS Binghamton General Hospital as a Nursing Coordinator supporting the Emergency Department (ED) Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) and Extended Observation Beds (EOB). This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational coordination to support patient flow departmental efficiency and exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency and behavioral health setting. As a clinical resource and role model for staff you will help foster a safe patient-centered environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely effective care delivery.

In this role you will support day-to-day department operations lead process improvement and quality initiatives and contribute to projects that enhance patient outcomes experience and regulatory compliance. Working closely with nursing leadership you will help drive strategic priorities promote operational excellence and support staff in delivering high-quality care. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about leadership collaboration and making a meaningful impact across emergency and psychiatric services.

Compensation Range:

$44.77 - $67.15 per hour depending on experience

  • Monday through Friday

  • 3PM - 11PM

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

  • A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

  • Bachelors in Nursing

  • Two(2) years of clinical nursing experience

Preferred:

  • Previousleadership experience


License/Certification

Minimum Required:

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License

  • CPR within 3 months of hire

  • Completion of professional certification in the relevant specialty practicewithin 3 years.

Preferred:

  • Current professional certification in the relevant specialty
