As a RN Clinical Supervisor You will:
- Review new patient referrals and determine care needs; assign appropriate hospice staff.
- Support and guide clinical staff through home visits case reviews and real-time consultations.
- Help develop patient care plans set treatment goals and prioritize care.
- Lead and participate in team case conferences to ensure coordinated holistic care.
- Conduct regular chart audits and provide feedback for quality improvement.
- Participate in hiring onboarding and training of clinical team members.
- Support staff development and continuing education programs.
- Assist in policy development and uphold professional care standards.
- Engage in community outreach and promote the hospices mission and services.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals.

Registered Nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of operation. | ||
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. | ||
Previous experience in hospice or home care setting required. | ||
Minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience preferred. |
Current CPR certification maintained in accordance with organizational policy. | ||
Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured per state and/or organizational requirements and is in good working order. |
Proven ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting. | ||
Demonstrates excellent observation nursing judgment and communication skillsboth verbal and written. | ||
Understands the hospice philosophy and the emotional clinical and ethical considerations surrounding end-of-life care. | ||
Knowledge of pain and symptom management principles. | ||
Adheres to accepted professional standards and practices. | ||
Commitment to clinical excellence and thorough documentation. |
