RN Clinical Nursing Practice Specialist

This is a job share role and the schedule will be flexible to meet the primary departments scheduling needs

The Clinical Nursing Practice Specialist is a shared position and the nurse is required to hold another part time role as a clinical nurse in another department within the Carle Health system. The clinical practice specialist is a high performing clinical nurse well versed in the nursing process the Illinois Nursing Practice Act and the scope and standards of nursing. This nurse is responsible for advancing and maintaining best nursing practices in a variety of practice settings. The practice specialist will create strong structures and processes through policy management and standardization of nursing procedure to facilitate the advancement of patient care. The practice specialist will coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure execution of best practices to improve patient outcomes and experience.
