Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree Nursing Diploma Bachelors in Nursing or Masters in Nursing
- Valid RN License
- Minimum of one (1) year Registered Nursing consider RN with two (2) years of LPN clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Charge RN or Leadership experience.
- Clinic or Ambulatory Setting experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- The ability to work independently and maintain high-quality care and the application of policies will be required.
- Good communication skills (written and oral).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and collaborative skills.
- Strong patient advocacy and patient education skills.
- Strong organizational skills and computer knowledge.
- Professional and courteous telephone etiquette.
- General knowledge of office machines including printers fax machines and scanners.
- Understanding basic medical terminology is necessary.
Additional Information:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling payroll staffing issues communication between staff and providers clinical/nursing staff education and training policy compliance and maintaining quality measures.
- Triage assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care and patient education either by telephone or within the UAMS Clinic.
- Delivers nursing care according to standards as defined by UAMS American Nurses Association (ANA) AR State Board of Nursing (ASBN) and those set forth by nursing specialty organizations. Coordinates care and/or follow-up for patients who receive care in inpatient and outpatient facilities.
- Implements patient care using an approach that is interdisciplinary and Patient and Family-Centered Care.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with nursing staff at all levels interdisciplinary teams executive leaders and other stakeholders.
- May perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of UAMS.
