Shift & Schedule:
Night Shift
12-Hour Shifts 36 Hours Per Week Rotating Weekends

Pay Rate:
Minimum: $29.92/hour Mid-Range (10 YOE): $39.21/hour Maximum (17 YOE): $44.88/hour

Shift Differential:
Night Shift: $4.00/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse Cardiac Medical-Surgical for a direct-hire opportunity in Panama City FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical and cardiovascular nursing assessments and report changes in patient status.

• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and monitor therapeutic responses and vital signs.

• Execute and document clinical procedures in accordance with provider orders and nursing standards.

• Monitor telemetry and cardiac patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.

• Anticipate and address patient comfort and medical needs to support positive outcomes.

• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses medications treatments and discharge instructions.

• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Support post-operative recovery and ongoing cardiac care management.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies patient safety standards and nursing regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Registered Nurse Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

• Active Florida Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License.

• BLS Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience.

• Acute care experience within the last 3 years or within the last 5 years with extensive RN experience.

• Strong clinical assessment communication and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to safely manage cardiac telemetry and post-intervention recovery patients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous cardiac telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience.

• Experience working in acute care hospital environments.
