Title: RN Ambulatory Care (Vascular Surgery Clinic)
Location: Syracuse New York
Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Schedule: Day Shift MondayFriday
Shift Timing: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Pay starts at: 60$/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Ambulatory Care / Vascular Surgery Clinic setting. The RN will perform patient assessments triage patient education and support physicians while ensuring high-quality outpatient care and efficient clinic operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient vascular surgery clinic
Perform patient assessments triage and clinical evaluations
Support physicians during patient visits and procedures
Monitor patient conditions and treatment responses
Coordinate patient flow and clinic operations
Educate patients regarding procedures treatments and follow-up care
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards
Deliver compassionate patient-centered care
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State RN License
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years
Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Experience in hospitals of similar size or trauma centers
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently in a busy outpatient environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Ambulatory Care or Outpatient Clinic experience
Vascular Surgery clinic experience
EPIC EMR experience
Prior nursing triage experience
