Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Care
Location: Syracuse NY
Type: Local or Travel Contract (Approx. 13 Weeks)
Pay: $62 - $70 per Hour
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 40 Hours Per Week (5x8 Schedule) Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Care for an exciting Local or Travel job in Syracuse NY.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient vascular surgery clinic.

Perform patient assessments triage and clinical evaluation.

Support physicians during outpatient visits and procedures.

Document all patient care accurately using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Monitor and follow up on patient conditions and treatment responses.

Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations.

Provide patient education regarding procedures treatments and post-care instructions.

Communicate effectively with patients families and multidisciplinary teams.

Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and healthcare standards.

Maintain high-quality safe and patient-centered ambulatory care.

Required Qualifications

Current New York State RN License.

Current BLS Certification (or ability to recertify).

Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the last 2 years.

Experience in a hospital of similar size/level or trauma center.

Strong clinical assessment and nursing judgment skills.

Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Ambulatory Care or Outpatient Clinic settings.

Experience in Vascular Surgery or Specialty Clinic environments.

Strong proficiency with EPIC EMR systems.

Prior triage experience in clinical or outpatient settings.

Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Strong organizational multitasking and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
