As ourRisk-Patient Safety Manager you will be a key player inhealthcare risk management drivingpatient safety initiativesand ensuringregulatory compliancewithin our hospital. This pivotal leadership role focuses on proactiverisk preventionand effectiveloss mitigation strategies aligning with administrative leadership to safeguard patient well-being and uphold our commitment to quality care. Every day you will oversee the comprehensiveincident reporting system conducting thorough investigations androot cause analyses (RCA)to identify and address potential risks. Youll lead impactfulPatient Safety and Risk Management activities facilitateliability claim management and actively participate inHospital Performance Improvementcommittees. Your responsibilities will also include meticulous preparation ofrisk management reports ensuring adherence toJoint CommissionandCMS standards and maintaining constant readiness foraccreditationandlicensing surveys.
To be successful in this role you will need aBachelors degree(Masters preferred) and a strong background inhealthcare risk management ideally with aRegistered Nurse (RN) licenseandCertified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)certification. You must possess excellent analytical communication and organizational skills coupled with a proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively across various departments. Your expertise in developing and interpreting legal documents and advanced computer skills will be essential for navigating complex regulatory landscapes and driving continuous improvement in ourpatient safety programs.
RN licensure
Bachelors degree required
Masters degree preferred
Certified Professional in Healthcare in Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred
