Job Summary for Quality Management Test Analyst
- Participate in and support testing activities for various software development projects using SDLC methodology.
- Ensure enterprise testing strategies and quality assurance technologies are integrated into IT processes and standards.
- Assist in standardizing and aligning software testing framework and architecture with enterprise architecture.
- Propose define and establish enterprise-level quality assurance tools standards and best practices.
- Leverage existing testing tools processes and practices to build a future-state software testing framework.
- Design test data to support test strategy and approach.
- Implement new methods techniques and tools to improve test efficiency across projects.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with test strategies for each project/release.
- Implement improvements to test strategies/frameworks based on feedback from testers and analysts.
- Provide periodic status updates and milestone reports to management and product teams.
- Maintain expert knowledge of and utilize test management tools (e.g. JAMA Selenium Robot Framework Jira Azure DevOps).
- Review business requirements and user stories to identify and document testing needs.
- Collaborate with business and IT subject matter experts to develop and verify test requirements.
- Develop test scenarios cases scripts and data for various types of testing (e.g. UAT system integration regression).
- Analyze and update test requirements/specifications as needed.
- Lead and perform testing activities including system testing UAT and both automated and manual testing.
- Review update and comment on all testing documentation including test plans defect management plans and test reports.
- Deliver key testing artifacts such as test plans defect management plans implementation checklists validation plans test scripts test data defect reports test results and status reports.
