The Retrofit Program Director is responsible for leading the execution and operationalization of buy-back package retrofits and pre-COD Bulletin implementation related to New Units ITR Project Operations. The successful candidate will be in charge of a organization that supports commercial team during buy-back process of packages coordinating resources to evaluate package and engine condition collaborating with engineering department and building a retrofit scope of work quoting manpower providers repair facilities coordinating with sourcing on material lists logistics constructing a budget for retrofit services rendered.

When the buy-back process is concluded the Retrofit Program Director will be in charge of retrofit / bulletin project implementation and being accountable for the schedule and cost performance of each retrofit or bulletin implementation at packages pre-cod.

When package retrofit is completed it will be made RTS and assigned to a customer.

This role leads a global team of approximately 5 employees and multiples indirect workers and suppliers including GE Vernova staff and contracted (TCOE) resources.

The Retrofit Program Director ensures full control and performance of the ITO-to-OTR process maintaining compliance budget adherence and delivery excellence.
The position drives operational efficiency cost-out initiatives and financial performance in alignment with GE Vernovas Operational Plan (OP) and Strategic Improvement Initiatives (SII).

Job Description

Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and develop the Retrofit and Bulletin Implementation team providing direction coaching and performance management for all direct and indirect workers.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for on-time delivery cost-out financial leakage budget adherence NCR reduction and supply chain continuity.
  • Promote a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement across all team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews ensuring alignment to business goals and individual development plans.

Value Stream & Process Ownership

  • Own the full ITR value stream across both Retrofit and Bulletin Implementation operations ensuring process discipline and standard work are applied consistently.
  • Oversee wing to wing processes required to successfully fulfill retrofit activities to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure accurate ITO budgeting financial forecasting and cost control throughout project and service execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean and Kaizen methodologies across procurement and services processes.

Project Procurement & Services Execution

  • Ensure that onshore and offshore procurement meets or exceed expectations in regards of supplier performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other functions for activities related to Parts Sourcing CM&U Field Service Installation and IPR management.
  • Support commercial teams in supplier negotiations cost optimization and comp etitive bidding aligned with GE Vernova sourcing policies.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers Engineering and Finance to align project sourcing strategies and service execution plans.
  • Partner with Quality EHS and Compliance teams to ensure all activities meet internal and customer requirements.

Financial & Compliance Management

  • Ensure strict adherence to budget targets and financial commitments under the OP and SII.
  • Deliver annual cost-out and productivity objectives through supplier and process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with GE Vernova policies integrity standards and regulatory requirements across all activities.
  • Provide regular operational and financial performance updates to functional and business leadership.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • On-Time Delivery (OTD): Achievement of project and service delivery milestones.
  • Cost-Out: Delivery of cost savings and productivity improvements versus budget.
  • Budget Control: Financial discipline and forecast accuracy across all operations.
  • Compliance & Quality: Adherence to GE Vernova and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant experience in Project Management supply chain project procurement or services operations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional or global teams.
  • Strong analytical organizational and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required.

Preferred:

  • Masters degree or completion of a GE Vernova functional development program.
  • Deep understanding of BOP and Services value streams including sourcing CM&U and Field Service operations.
  • Demonstrated experience driving cost-out Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic vision and execution detail.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $154800.00 and $258000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
