Retail Unarmed Field Supervisor Flex officer

American Guard Services (AGS) is seeking professional dependable and experienced Retail Unarmed Field Supervisors / Flex Officers to join our team in Phoenix AZ.

Location: Phoenix AZ
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

• Wednesday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Friday - Saturday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

The Retail Unarmed Field Supervisor / Flex Officer is responsible for overseeing security operations at assigned locations supporting officers in the field maintaining site coverage and ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees customers and visitors.

This position requires strong leadership skills flexibility professionalism and the ability to respond effectively to operational and security needs.

• Supervise and support security officers assigned to multiple locations.
• Conduct site visits and ensure post orders are being followed.
• Assist with staffing coverage as needed.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and guidance.
• Control access and verify authorized entry.
• Conduct screenings using security wands and metal detectors when required.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing client policies and procedures.

• Valid Arizona Security Guard License (or ability to obtain one).
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication leadership and customer service skills.
• Clean background and professional work history.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand walk and perform patrols for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in security retail warehouse logistics or distribution environments.
• Experience conducting screenings and access control procedures.
• Prior field supervisor or flex officer experience preferred.
