Retail Financial Analyst, People Retail

You will be part of the Retail Finance team focused on devising and implementing global staffing strategy for Apples stores globally: over 500 locations across over 20 countries with operating expenses in excess of $4B. Our work directly impacts the customer experience of Apple globally. The job will entail collaboration with field leadership and a wide set of functional teams including Store Operations People Tax Compensation Public Relations Legal and AppleCare. The teams work spans strategy design analysis reporting and forecasting. The wide range of cross-functional stakeholders means you will need to influence decisions effectively. You will partner with various groups handle confidential information and carry a high level of responsibility and exposure.

As a People Retail Financial Analyst you will play a critical role in staffing Apples Retail Stores efficiently while ensuring a great employee and customer experience. You will integrate business trends and dynamic staffing strategies into detailed cost models driving key financial insights for leadership.

Own the annual plan monthly forecast cycles and quarterly close process for worldwide Retail Staffing costs and business trends and dynamic staffing strategies into detailed cost models and financial results including budgets versus actuals monthly trends expense drivers and operational key performance and articulate key drivers to Retail and Finance total store cross-functional initiatives and projects through collaboration with partners including Retail Real Estate Store Operations and Workforce labor strategy planning and modeling for new Retail strategic and financial analysis for ad hoc work to facilitate executive decision-making related to store staffing and operational improvements across recurring financial planning and analysis tasks systems and cross-functional workflows to contribute to improved forecast Store requisition approvals a key control to staffing levels in store and partner with Recruiting Operations and Technology to continuously improve the and coordinate technical and operational solutions for total store staffing opportunities and internal team processes.

5 years of experience in finance financial planning and analysis or a related degree or equivalent experience.n

Experience with complex financial modeling quantitative analysis and translating data into actionable managing large datasets and utilizing financial systems to drive operational supporting labor strategy workforce planning or retail to influence decisions and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners and navigating ambiguity and driving projects to completion in a fast-paced to collaborate effectively across various functional teams including Operations Real Estate and Human Resources.
