Position Summary
City Winery FOHSupervisor is responsible for providing support to the operations team andhourly staff. This individual works to ensure smooth operations by handlingwalk-in guest inquiries vendor management and handling all aspects ofsuccessful floor maintenance service execution & exemplary guest andemployee experiences. The supervisor also aids in setting up the closingmanagement and service teams all while keeping in consideration smoothoperations and overall success. The supervisor should demonstrate an ability tolead and motivate others and achieve results. The supervisor should beempowered to make day-to-day decisions confidently both with guests serviceteams and other departmental management.

Overview of Responsibilities

Provide on-the-floor support and oversight for theduration of a service shift and manage day-to-day floor operations includingassigning server sections overseeing side work observing steps of serviceand maintaining overall cleanliness/tidiness of the spaces

Ensure restaurant and venue are fully prepared andorganized for daily operation

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitationmeasures

Engage in guest hospitality; resolve guest concernsand complaints promote an exceptional guest experience

Advise Operations managers of any guest issues thatarise that need management communication or attention

Ensure maintenance of property by examining areasdaily for cleanliness and maintenance needs and reporting any needs to uppermanagement where necessary

Support the Operations managers including supervisingother areas if necessary handling special projects running promotions

Manage staffing and operations of private events asapplicable

Perform all cash handling procedures: opening middaysafe counts cash pay-outs and nightly cash drops as needed

Assist with staff trainings both in daily pre-shiftsand monthly FOH staff service meetings

Maintain pars of all printed promotional materialscomment cards or other check presenter inserts

Assist in interviewing hiring and coaching processof hourly employees as needed

Other tasks projects assignments as per businessneed

Minimum Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience in high-volume fast pacedrestaurants or similar environment preferred

Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills

Strong organizational skills attention to detail and workethic

Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a teamand independently

Ability to take direction and communicate effectively andprofessionally

Ability to perform physical requirements of positionincluding standing for extended periods of time kneeling stooping use ofstairs and able to lift 50 lbs.

Able to work rapidly especially during peak periods toensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operationaltasks are being completed in a timely manner

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days nightsweekends and holidays

Technical Skills: Microsoft Windows proficient
