Reports to: Restaurant Manager
Primary Purpose: Responsible for providing food and beverage service to customers in the Winners Circle Restaurant or Jockey Club.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare table settings and side stations in assigned area prior lo opening.
- Greet customers present menus inform customers of daily specials or buffet offerings make suggestions answer questions and take beverage orders.
- Process food and beverage orders In POS system.
- Pick up and serve beverage orders from service bar to customers properly and in a timely manner.
- Close out guest checks and collect payment from customer.
- Process vouchers for credit cards and make change for cash transactions.
- Assist bus staff with stocking removing and resetting dishes glassware flatware table linens and other related restaurant supplies as needed.
- Secure stations at end of shift return all linens condiments dishes glassware and flatware to appropriate areas.
Education/Certifications: Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma. TABC certification required.
Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in dining and be knowledgeable of the sequence of service and typical dining room procedures.
