Position:Restaurant ServerJob Description:Ensure and serve guests with an elevated experience demonstrating menu knowledge sales ability and our storyTypical Work Conditions:Restaurant or other outletEquipment Used:Trays various dishes glassware flatware room service equipment and other food and beverage service itemsKnowledge/Training:Candidate must be fluent in English and demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly with guests and associatesMinimum of 2 years serving experience requiredMust have basic knowledge of beer wine and spirits and be familiar with menu itemsMust demonstrate the ability to upsell and drive revenueKnowledge of POS Systems helpfulEssential Tasks:Provide superior table service to the guest per Cambria standardsUpsell items that generate additional revenue for the restaurant while satisfying the guestComplete all payment transactions per hotel policies and proceduresPerform duties per shift including setup and cleanupClean and reset tables per standardSeat guestsServe room service orders per Cambria standards and guidelinesFamiliarize with open table to input reservations according to standardAnswer phones within 2 ringsParticipate and attend pre-shift meetings or huddlesExecute other duties as assigned by managers/supervisorsOther desired skills:FlexibilityComfortable with making empowered financial decisionsAble to work within a teamLeadership mentalityOwnershipAbility to create memorable moments for your guestsAble to work in a fast paced environment
