Restaurant Manager

To ensure objectives are met in the Restaurant. Responsible for complete restaurant organization. Directs and coordinates all activities regarding the restaurant by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure service quality and financial goals are achieved.
  Manage staff scheduling labor costs and operational budgets.
  Recruit interview hire onboard and train team members and supervisors.
  Conduct performance evaluations coaching recognition and disciplinary actions.
  Ensure compliance with company policies food safety standards and health regulations.
  Monitor inventory purchasing cash handling beverage controls and operating expenses.
  Resolve guest concerns promptly and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
  Lead staff development training programs and operational improvements to maximize sales and profitability.

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Is responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of both units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking.
• Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
• The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays.
