Restaurant Dishwasher

S&L Hospitality along with Spencers Tavern located inside of The Colonial Inn are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Dishwasher. Ideal candidates will have an interest for working in a culinary atmosphere have prior cleaning ordishwashing experience are a self-starter can work with little supervisor and are willing to utilize in a prep work role. This position is primarily scheduled for evenings between 4pm and 10:30pm and will need to be available for brunch shifts as well as other events that require this role to be available.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Ability to work with little supervision and focused in a noisy fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs.
• frequently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or minimum age to work in a kitchen environment in accordance with state/local laws.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to maintain a composed approachable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Washes all wares including pots plans flatware and glasses by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stocks serving stations cupboards refrigerators and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving as directed.
• Ensures work areas remain safe clean and orderly adhering to all company local and state guidelines regarding health safety and sanitation.
