NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for a dedicated Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join our vibrant team in Louisville. This full-time on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the guest experience in our casual dining environment while supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.

As the Restaurant Assistant General Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities from staff management to customer service excellence. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to implement strategies that drive sales enhance customer satisfaction and foster a positive work culture. We offer a competitive salary range of $55000 - $65000 annually along with opportunities for growth within our expanding organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and ensuring high-quality service
  • Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Implement operational strategies to achieve financial targets and enhance efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering processes
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on staff scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in marketing efforts to promote the restaurant and attract new customers
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of financial management and budgeting
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred
