What You Will Do

• Maintain and ensure application of current NDT standards including NAS410 and applicable Pratt & Whitney specifications.

• Develop maintain and administer the companys NDT Written Practice including certification requirements training programs and recertification processes.

• Serve as the technical authority for assigned NDT methods including method selection technique development and approval of procedures.

• Interpret engineering drawings technical manuals specifications standards planning documents and contractual requirements to determine appropriate NDT requirements are met.

• Ensure full compliance with customer industry and government regulations governing nondestructive inspection activities.

• Ensure proper documentation retention and traceability of NDT records reports and certifications

• Train examine and certify NDT Level I II and III personnel in accordance with NAS 410 Pratt & Whitney requirements and applicable industry standards.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree with 8 years of related experience in engineering manufacturing operations program management quality or related field OR a masters degree with 5 or more years of experience in engineering manufacturing operations program management quality or related field.

• In absence of a degree 12 or more years of experience in engineering manufacturing operations program management quality Non-Destructive Testing or related field

• Currently hold a Level 3 certification in NDT methods with specific focus in Ultrasonic Inspection Eddy Current Inspection Magnetic Particle Inspection and Penetrant Inspection

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with training personneltestingand auditing NDT systems.

• Experience with immersion Ultrasonic Testing.

• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations.

• Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools.

• Experience withSAPand Microsoft suite.

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
