As a Respite Worker youll support children and adultswith intellectual or developmental disabilities in their homes and communitiesgiving family caregivers peace of mind and a needed break.
- Support individuals on community outings at home or in group settings.
- Build positive connections and assist with daily activities and goals.
- Maintain clear notes and follow individualized care plans.
- Caring reliable and patient individuals.
- Experience in developmental disabilities or relevant coursework (preferred).
- Strong communication and sound judgment.
Full training provided! (CPR First Aid Person-Centered Practice and more).

Must clear all background checks and registry screenings required by Shore and the State of Illinois before any contact with a person served and maintain clearance throughout.
Valid driver;s license and current automobile insurance required to transport a person served. Shore must have both on file before any transportation occurs.
DSP certification not required but preferred
