Location: Could be based in Spencer Spirit Lake Sioux Center or Sheldon IA.

Pay Range: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Status: Full-Time 40 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible mostly days afternoons and evenings during the week occasional weekends no overnights

About the Job

The Respite Provider will plan coordinate and execute fun engaging and therapeutic activities for kids in a 1:1 or group setting. Respite provides parents and guardians a break from caregiving while also providing the peace of mind in knowing their children are safe and well cared for.

• An associates degree or completion of at least two years (60 hours) of coursework towards a Bachelors degree in social work human services or a related field is required
• Some experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health concerns is required
• Some experience working with children is required
• Must be willing and able to submit health history record forms
• This position requires regular travel in agency vehicles so a valid drivers license is required
• A current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one is required
