Camp Cheerful Strongsville

Camp Cheerful is a beautiful 52 acre facility that is part of the well-respected Achievement Centers for Children (ACC). Since 1940 ACC has been empowering children and adults with disabilities and their families to achieve their greatest potential. Located in the Mill Steam Run Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks in Strongsville Ohio Camp Cheerful provides campers all the traditional camp activities!

The Details:

• $500 stipend per weekend
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Personal care like toileting/changing required
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• Friday-Sunday Schedule -Must stay on site
  • Campers are between the ages of 16 to 99 with disabilities
  • We provide a 1 counselor to 3 camper ratio for the Overnight Camp
• Responsibilities include communicating with parents supporting counselors and planning amazing camp activities
