Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Kealakekua Hawaii. The ideal candidate will be skilled in delivering comprehensive respiratory care across all patient age groups in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong critical thinking abilities clinical independence and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services for neonatal pediatric adult and geriatric patients
  • Assess monitor and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Administer respiratory treatments therapies and oxygen management as prescribed
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care support when needed
  • Operate troubleshoot and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with facility standards
Requirements
  • Active Respiratory Therapist credentials required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • Experience treating patients across all age groups required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current PALS certification required
  • Current NRP certification required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous acute care or critical care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic healthcare environment
