Location: Salida Colorado
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 6:00 PM 6:30 AM; Sunday Tuesday with every other Wednesday night plus some call weekends and holidays
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week quick-start night-shift contract opportunity in Salida Colorado. This role supports cardiopulmonary services and requires strong respiratory assessment diagnostic testing airway management mechanical ventilation and therapeutic intervention skills.
Responsibilities
Perform respiratory assessments using physical examination and diagnostic data
Provide pulmonary function testing sleep studies blood gas collection and other diagnostic procedures
Deliver respiratory therapies including medical gas humidity aerosol therapy and airway clearance
Manage artificial airways and support invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Document care accurately using CPSI/Evident and support discharge planning case management and patient education
Requirements
Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist License Required
CRT Or RRT Credential Required
BLS/BCLS ACLS PALS And NRP Certifications Required
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
RPSGT preferred; must be available for night shift call weekends and holiday coverage
