• Evaluate patients respiratory conditions by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
• Administer respiratory therapies including medical gas delivery nebulization chest physiotherapy airway management and mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) for pediatric adolescent adult and neonatal patients.
• Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis pulmonary function testing and pulse oximetry
• Monitor patient physiological responses to treatments and adjust care or escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Manage artificial airways and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure patient safety and therapy effectiveness.
• Active member of the medical emergency response teams.

Education:

• Associate or bachelors degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program is
• Graduate of aCoARCapproved Respiratory Care program is

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Must have current licensure in good standing to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State(s) of Practice
• Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Must obtain within 90 days of hire:
  • Mandatory Reporter
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
