OVERVIEW
This is a full-time respiratory therapy role focused on delivering respiratory care directly to patients in their homes.
- Conduct in home patient assessments
- Provide education on respiratory equipment and prescribed therapies
- Set up and adjust ventilators and oxygen therapy equipment per physician orders
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Provide ongoing patient follow up and support
- Participate in scheduled on call coverage
- Assist with training and onboarding of clinical team members
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Must live within 25 miles of Conway location
Preferred
- Home healthcare experience
- Respiratory therapy experience
- DME experience
- Degree in respiratory therapy or related field
- At least one year of clinical experience

- Strong patient education and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a field environment
- Excellent time management and organization
- Problem solving and equipment troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to build trust and rapport with patients and caregivers
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Microsoft Office Outlook Word and Excel
- Email and electronic documentation systems
- Standard office and communication equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and transport patient equipment up to 65 lbs
- Daily driving and travel throughout territory
- Standing walking sitting talking and listening for extended periods
- Exposure to patient environments and potential health risks
- Must comply with N95 fit testing and respiratory protection requirements
