Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Day Shift

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis MA.

Key Responsibilities
Assess acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction
Initiate and manage ventilatory support using lung protective strategies
Recommend ventilator settings monitor patient response and assist with ventilator weaning
Perform diagnostic procedures including ABG draws and sputum collection
Interpret ABG results and assist with bedside spirometry and capnography
Manage respiratory status during patient transport within and outside facility
Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team (RRT) events
Assist with intubations and conscious sedation procedures
Administer oxygen therapy high-flow oxygen Heliox and aerosolized medications
Provide care for neonatal and pediatric respiratory patients
Maintain and manage artificial airways including tracheostomy care
Perform suctioning and assist with airway clearance therapies
Assess and manage non-invasive ventilation
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide respiratory support
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and equipment readiness

Requirements
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required
Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy license required
Current BLS Certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Strong communication and patient care skills required
Ability to communicate effectively in English required
