About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist evaluates and treats patients with breathing related conditions performs diagnostic testing and collaborates with physicians to develop effective treatment plans. This position plays a vital role in emergency response patient education and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

How youll contribute

• Conduct diagnostic testing including bedside PFTs EKGs blood gas analysis and tobacco cessation education.

• Deliver respiratory therapies monitor patient response and communicate changes in condition.

• Respond to codes and emergent respiratory calls providing rapid assessment and intervention.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory health medication use and illness management.

• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment manage supplies and support performance improvement efforts.

• Provide care across neonatal through older adult populations while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.

What were looking for

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy.

• RRT license in the state of practice.

• BCLS ACLS PALS and NRP certifications.

• Ability to work in physically demanding environments with exposure to biological and chemical hazards.

• Strong critical thinking skills reliability and a commitment to patient centered care.
