What Youll Do

As a Respiratory Therapist with Loyola you will:

• Deliver respiratory care across adult pediatric and neonatal populations

• Administer treatments manage ventilators and perform diagnostics

• Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Serve as a lead/charge therapist guiding workflow and supporting team members

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree in respiratory care

• Illinois RT license (or within 6 months)

• CRT (NBRC)

• BLS (AHA)

• NRP & PALS within 90 days (effective July 1 2025)

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS

• NPS and/or ACCS credentials

RT 2 --

• Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelors preferred

• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

• Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (or within 6 months of hire)

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC (or within 6 months of hire)

• NRP & PALS within 90 days (effective July 1 2025)

RT 3 --

• Associate degree in respiratory care; Bachelors preferred

• 3 years of previous job-related experience

• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

• Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC

Compensation:

Respiratory Therapist II Pay Range: $36.50 - $48.84 per hour

Respiratory Therapist III Pay Range:$36.50 - $50.71 per hour
