About the Opportunity

Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client a large well established hospital in Spokane Washington part of a comprehensive health care organization serving patients across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are seeking two Respiratory Care Practitioners to join their dedicated team one for a 2nd Floor Float position and one for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Both roles offer the opportunity to work in a patient focused whole person care environment where caregivers are truly valued and empowered. The organization serves over 50 hospitals and 1000 clinics across multiple states with a 100 year tradition of caring for the most vulnerable.

The Two Openings

Position 1 2nd Floor Float RCP

A float position providing respiratory therapy coverage across the 2nd floor. Ideal for an RCP who enjoys variety in their daily caseload and thrives in a dynamic inpatient environment.

Position 2 PICU RCP

A specialized position within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit requiring experience or strong interest in neonatal and pediatric critical care respiratory management. High acuity highly rewarding.

Requirements
  • Education to meet certification license or registration requirements
  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
  • BLS certification American Heart Association (required upon hire)
  • Comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles
  • PICU position: Pediatric/neonatal respiratory care experience preferred
Scope of Work
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses in planning and implementing patient care plans
  • Operate and maintain complex ventilatory support systems
  • Perform monitoring and resuscitation procedures
  • Conduct respiratory care procedures and patient assessments
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and administer oxygen therapy
  • Complete department orientation and unit-specific orientation as required
  • Assist physicians with delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy
