Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00PM

What you bring to SBHG:

Education & Experience:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED HiSET) is required.
  • An associate degree in a social science field is preferred combined with at least three (3) years of experience.
  • A bachelors degree in a social science field is preferred combined with at least one (1) year of experience.

Experience must include providing support to individuals living with mental illness working in a behavioral health setting or performing non-professional healthcare or social services functions.

How you will make a difference

  • The Resource Specialist has the primary responsibility for helping clients access housing and community resources by building relationships with local agencies and service providers. Coordinates outreach efforts visits discharge locations and assists clients with admission paperwork and consent forms. Facilitates resident and community meetings as needed and provides transportation to appointments to help clients connect with needed services and supports.

  • Population Served (Capacity): Serving adults ages 18-59
  • Facility & Setting: 24/7 inpatient voluntary program 16-bed facility
  • Clinical Services (Core): Rehabilitation/recoveryservices including substance use rehabilitation services
  • Length of Stay: 30 day stay
  • Skills & Services: Pre-vocational or vocational counseling and medication evaluation and support services.
