The Resource Nurse is responsible for the coordination of clinical activities through developing and sustaining an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice and customer service while striving for optimal efficiency productivity and utilization of all resources. Utilizes the nursing process leadership skills and current evidence based clinical knowledge to assess the health needs of guests collaborate with health team members to coordinate guest care anticipates outcomes of nursing interventions and sets criteria for the quality of patient Nurse may also assume other duties as a licensed nurse as necessary.

- Works within the interdisciplinary team structure to complete the guests initial Plan of Care at the time of admission.
- Assist with the planning implementation and evaluation of the guest care area/unit orientation.
- Utilizes material equipment and time in a safe beneficial and cost-effective manner.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Prior to date of hire must hold a current valid nursing license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) through the Arizona State Board of Nursing or hold a compact RN or LPN license. Must maintain valid nursing licensure throughout the course of employment.
- CPR certification required at time of hire.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years LPN experience in an LTC/SNF/Rehab setting.
- If an LPN the ability to obtain RN licensure through the AZ State Board of Nursing within six (6) months to one (1) year of hire is highly preferred.
OR - Must hold current RN licensure through the AZ State Board of Nursing AND have a minimum of one (1) year experience in an LTC/SNF/Rehab setting.
