Job Summary

We are currently seeking Per Diem Residential Support Specialists to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team providing flexible as-needed direct care coverage within our residential programs.

What You Will Do:
- Assist and monitor activities of daily living encouraging independence competency and decision-making
- Support quality of life through empowerment safety awareness respect and dignity
- Monitor overall health and well-being and assist with aspects of medication treatment and administration
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed
- Help individuals maintain and strengthen social support networks including relationships with family friends and community groups
- Plan and provide opportunities for community activities
- Act as a key implementer of strategies to meet ISP/PSTP goals
- Complete shift summaries progress notes and required documentation (e.g. Incident Reports Medication Occurrence Reports) in a timely manner
- Provide safe timely transportation using your own vehicle for appointments errands and recreational activities as needed
- Prepare balanced nutritious meals and snacks and perform routine household cleaning and maintenance
- Attend required trainings and in-services as scheduled
- Communicate with supervisors as required during scheduled shifts including overnight shifts
Who You Are:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Human services experience preferred but not required; training provided by BHN
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required for all working hours
- Committed to consumer empowerment growth human rights and community integration
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with internet word processing and email systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available to work flexible as-needed per diem shifts
