Role: Resident Service CoordinatorReports to: Program Manager Residental Service CoordinationProgram: 1603- Housing RetentionDepartment: Permanent HousingLocation: King 1101 Apartments - 1101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Los Angeles CA 90037Setting: 100% OnsiteSchedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmStatus:Full-time/Non-Exempt/Non-ManagementBenefits:Medical Vision Dental Life Insurance 403(b) Retirement plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) :1Summary:As part of a multi-disciplinary team and under the supervision of Program Manager the Residential Service Coordinator (RSC) will meet with clients residing in permanent supportive housing to sustain housing and wellness in partnership with case management staff and the Housing for Health (HFH) Program of the LA County Department of Health Services. Primary responsibilities are to provide outreach and engagement to newly housed clients and to coordinate community integration activities supporting client satisfaction in Duties and Responsibilities: Develop effective trusting and professional relationships with clients with a focus on facilitating their group supportive services and life skills trainings to clients within the permanent supportive housing crisis intervention as a comprehensive needs assessment for each housing a client-focused programming plan in collaboration with on-site case management staff and clients based on community and client goals and with clients on a weekly basis as to implement programming based on community-specific needs of the client population and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure client retention of permanent supportive and participate in all staff meetings trainings and group supervisions as accurate files and statistical data (manually and via computer system) per agency client engagement status reports based on accurate file keeping of program with other Agency projects and other referring in on-going self-evaluation program evaluation and program development / effectively with property manager and other programs staff who provide services to the client connections with community partners to improve client access to community duties as :High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentDemonstrated knowledge of referral and community resources or how to locate providing supportive services to in working with a diverse population (i.e. mental illness substance abuse).Interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with staff and to improving the community through empowerment and of public benefit & social service to self-motivate and work to organize time and responsibilities in an effective and efficient to non-violent crisis literate; able to effectively use computerized database (HMIS) for tenant file to work as a part of a to incorporate feedback from administrative and clinical CA IDPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree preferred; or4 years equivalent work Environment:Combination of field and office required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 occasion walk or drive to different local necessitate working in busy and loud be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day.
