Job Summary: Responsible for installing maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in residential ensuring compliance with local codes and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install and repair pipes and replacement fixtures.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose and fix plumbing issues; perform routine maintenance.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients; ensure satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople; mentor apprentices.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols; use protective equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Iowa journeymans plumbers license (preferred).
- 4 years of professional experience.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand walk and move around for extended periods
- Ability to work in various positions including kneeling bending and reaching
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and conditions
- Valid drivers license.
