Becoming a residential nursing assistant in an assisted living facility is a rewarding career asit allows you to directly make a positive impact on the lives of elderly residents by providing them with personalized care building meaningful relationships and contributing to their overall well-being offering a sense of fulfillment through helping others in a supportive community setting.

What you will do:

• Assist residents with daily activities providing physical and emotional support which can significantly improve their quality of life.

• Develop close relationships with residents and their families getting to know their individual needs and preferences.

• Provide companionship and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

• Monitor the health and safety of residents identifying potential hazards and ensuring quick access to help when needed.

• Maintain cleanliness in residents living spaces.

• Notify nurses or supervisors about changes in residents conditions.

• Maintain accurate records of residents information.

• Understanding and following established policy and procedures related to fire tornado evacuation disaster plan universal precautions infection control procedures hazardous and chemical communication program.

• Mentor new employees and assists with their orientation.

• Lead by example following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards.

Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:

• Must be 16 years or older
