Job Summary

Position: Resident Assistant Assisted Living (Part-Time)

Shifts Available: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / 10pm - 6am

Position Summary

As a Resident Assistant you play an important role in creating a welcoming supportive environment for our residents. Working alongside our care team you will assist with non-clinical tasks that help ensure residents are comfortable engaged and well cared for while supporting the daily operations of our assisted living community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver water linens and meal trays to residents.
  • Organize equipment and replace batteries in resident lifts and other devices as needed.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and other routine tasks throughout the community.
  • Accompany residents during transportation and appointments as directed.
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and communicate resident needs to the appropriate staff.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Build positive relationships with residents through friendly conversation and companionship.
  • Provide support to nursing and caregiving staff with non-clinical duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the designated supervisor.
