We are seeking a Reservoir Engineer to support asset development across our unconventional portfolio primarily within the Eagle Ford basin. This role will focus on development planning production forecasting and performance evaluation to optimize capital efficiency and recovery. The Reservoir Engineer collaborates across multidisciplinary teams to drive key business decisions on asset development. This role is expected to operate with a high degree of independence while maintaining a strong team-first mentality balancing day-to-day economic evaluations with comprehensive well performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain production forecasts type curves and development cases for assigned asset areas.
• Evaluate well and reservoir performance using rate transient analysis (RTA) pressure transient analysis (PTA) and numerical simulation when necessary.
• Develop recommendations related to well spacing landing zones completion design and production practices.
• Perform project-level economic analyses for the purpose of AFEs and field development utilizing ARIES.
• Build and maintain advanced Spotfire dashboards modifying existing scripts to dynamically analyze data on a spatial and trend basis.
• Lead integrated lookbacks that connect reservoir performance with drilling completion and operating outcomes.
• Evaluate and report competitor results detailing interpreted strategies and how it relates to internal practices.
• Work with the Finance team on budget and long-term forecasting consistent with the Companys development plan.
• Foster a highly collaborative team-first environment to build consensus across engineering operations finance and commercial teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 38 years of upstream operator experience with a minimum of 2 years of dedicated reservoir engineering experience.
• Experience in Unconventional Reservoirs.
• Strong technical expertise and daily proficiency in ARIES for economic evaluation and decline curve analysis.
• Proficiency in RTA software specifically Whitson.
• Advanced proficiency in Spotfire with the ability to navigate and modify existing scripts to build robust data visualizations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proven team-first mentality with a track record of actively collaborating rather than working in silos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Eagle Ford basin is preferred but not strictly required.
• Mix of reservoir completions planning production operations or drilling experience.
• Ability to leverage Generative AI tools for practical engineering problem-solving data analysis and workflow efficiency.
