Job Summary
Duties And Responsibilities
Collect organize and document company financial industry and market data from appropriate research sources. Perform financial statement analysis and analyze relevant company and industry information. Build update and validate financial valuation models. Conduct peer-company benchmarking and comparative financial analysis. Evaluate relevant risk factors and ESG considerations and incorporate them into financial analysis. Prepare and revise tables charts exhibits and other research materials. Assist in drafting and revising written financial analysis and research deliverables. Maintain organized records of research sources assumptions calculations and model inputs. Meet with the faculty supervisor and research team as needed to discuss progress and incorporate feedback. Assist with preparation of presentation or dissemination materials related to the research project.
Qualifications
Current Winthrop University undergraduate or graduate student eligible for student employment. Basic knowledge of finance accounting economics business or a related area. Ability to work with spreadsheets and quantitative information. Ability to conduct research using financial company and industry information. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively and meet project deadlines.
