Summary of Job Duties:
The Research Technician position is to support research activities. This will include participant recruitment consenting participants survey data collection conducting interviews qualitative and quantitative data management data cleaning data analysis literature reviews and writing for dissemination of research findings.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required.

  • Bachelors degree by the start of the position is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts literature reviews and needs assessments for projects.

  • Draft study materials following guidance from investigators.

  • Assists with data collection and conducting interviews.

  • Performs qualitative analysis according to the directions of investigators and assists with the preparation of findings for presentations and publications.

  • Ensures that research activities are conducted with rigor and according to protocol.

  • Contributes to the development of research manuscripts.

  • Tracks progress on research activities and collaborates with project partners to ensure that activities are on track and within project timelines.

  • Proactively identifies potential barriers to completion of project goals and milestones and communicates with supervisor and relevant partners to address challenges.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
