Research Technician I (Temporary)

The University of Arizonas Reproductive Toxicology Laboratory led by Dr. Zelieann R. Craig in the School of Animal & Comparative Biomedical Sciences is seeking an inquisitive well-organized and highly motivated individual for the position of Research Technician I. The successful candidate will work independently using a variety of established protocols including molecular biology and physiological techniques to examine the effects of environmental chemicals on female reproductive system function.

• Prepare for and perform predetermined experiments under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) (or their delegate) to meet the objectives of the research project.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures analyses and results.
• Perform administrative and laboratory maintenance duties such as bookkeeping ordering supplies preparing solutions and waste disposal.
• Report experiment progress to Principal Investigator.
• Complete data-sharing tasks and other activities for the dissemination of results under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (or their delegate).

• Knowledgeable of basic female reproductive physiology.
• Skilled in cell and tissue culture protocols.

• Skilled in animal handling.
• Skilled in data processing visualization and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently and with others at various career levels.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to have a high degree of accountability determination and curiosity.
