THIS IS A TEMPORARY GRANT-FUNDED POSITION FUNDED UNTIL JUNE 30 2027

JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Research Study Coordinator 2 leads the design implementation and continuous improvement of evaluation efforts for community-based organizations delivering programs aimed at reducing youth violence supporting at-risk youth and providing services to victims of violence. Works collaboratively with community partners program staff and leadership to ensure programs are data-informed outcomes-driven and responsive to community needs.



Responsibilities
  1. Develops and updates logic models and theories of change.
  2. Works independently to manage day-to-day macro- and micro-level details essential to the scientific advancement and functioning of a large and complex evaluation and research program as determined by Principal Investigator (PI).
  3. Defines measurable outcomes for various intervention programs including youth engagement violence reduction and victim support.
  4. Designs surveys and tracking systems and leads qualitative data collection.
  5. Analyzes quantitative and qualitative data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  6. Participates or leads staff and other study meetings to keep everyone updated on progress of project(s) as assigned.
  7. Evaluates attainment of goals and make recommendations for improvement in effectiveness and efficiency.
  8. Applies expertise in principles of evaluation and research methods including data collection analysis interpretation and scientific communication.
  9. Prepares evaluation and research reports to report on the findings of the evaluation/research initiative.
  10. Supervises and provides work direction to evaluation team staff members.
  11. Provides training and technical assistance for community partners.
  12. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of experience in program evaluation including data collection analysis and reporting; ORa combination of education and experience to equal six (6) years. Must have a valid Drivers License.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of program evaluation frameworks including logic models and theories of change.
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods.
  • Skill in developing surveys tracking systems and data collection tools.
  • Skill in translating data into clear actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively.
  • Ability to ensure data quality confidentiality and compliance.
  • Ability to engage community partners with cultural humility.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position may occasionally be required to work weekends and evenings.
