Statement of Work Details
Performs research activities and other tasks in a laboratory environment.
- Tissue organoid and 3D cellular modes related projects; explore disease- and chemical-based mechanistic toxicology study
- Mitochondria project; investigate the mode of action of compounds through omics technology
- Propose design and test alternative assays; develop and perform secondary assays for follow up
- Develop and bring in novel assays for toxicological testing that can be used in evaluate chemical compound toxicity
- Develop secondary assays including western blot and RT-PCR for follow up study based on the project needs
Records observations and measurements and reports results at weekly laboratory meetings.
- Report experimental data at lab meeting 3
Documents and analyzes data from experiments.
- Analyze results; organize findings into tables and figures; mentor summer intern and other lab staff
Evaluates new technologies and instruments.
- Develop and bring in novel assays for toxicological testing that can be used in evaluate chemical compound toxicity- Evaluate new assays technologies and instruments
