The Opportunity
The Centre of Research Excellence in Bipolar Disorder has an exciting opportunity available for a Research Fellow to contribute to a dynamic program of national and international research on bipolar disorder. The position will support a broad portfolio of projects within a multidisciplinary environment with a strong focus on statistical analysis and managing large complex datasets. Working under limited supervision the role will contribute to high-quality research outputs while collaborating closely with academic teams across institutes.
This position will play a key role in conducting statistical analyses and contributing to research design interpretation and dissemination including grant applications systematic reviews conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications. The role will also support the broader research environment through limited administrative tasks occasional involvement in teaching activities linked to research and participation in relevant meetings and academic addition the position will provide advice to postgraduate researchers within the scope of the research program supporting capacity building within the team.
We are seeking a candidate with a doctoral qualification in a relevant or closely related discipline alongside demonstrated experience in statistical analysis manuscript preparation and peer-reviewed publications. Strong proficiency in R and other statistical software together with experience in managing and analysing large-scale clinical datasets is essential. Well-developed skills in machine learning approaches clustering techniques and longitudinal modelling will also be highly regarded.
