The Opportunity
The Faculty of Information Technology is looking for a Research Fellow to lead AI and machine learning initiatives on complex real-world pharmaceutical datasets provided by our industry partner CSL Behring.
These datasets hold critical patterns anomalies and insights that traditional methods miss. You will develop test and evaluate robust interpretable machine learning models specifically targeting anomaly detection and predictive modelling to drive real world pharmaceutical outcomes.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment across Monash and CSL Behring youll ensure your research outputs are both scientifically rigorous and practically relevant to industry needs.
This is a rare opportunity to work on industry-embedded research that translates advanced algorithms into practical biopharmaceutical applications while remaining grounded in an academic environment that values rigour and publication. Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team supported by Professor Aldeida Aleti and contribute to a project where your methods have a clear line of sight to real outcomes.
