The Research & Development (R&D) Intern supports the R&D team in conducting experiments collecting and analyzing data and assisting in the development of new products processes or technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in innovation problem-solving and technical research within a collaborative environment.
The Research & Development (R&D) Intern will:
Assist in planning and executing research experiments and tests
Collect organize and analyze data from experiments and research activities
Support the development and improvement of products processes or systems
Conduct literature reviews and competitive research to support innovation
Prepare reports presentations and documentation of findings
Maintain accurate records of experiments results and observations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering product and quality departments
Follow safety protocols lab procedures and company guidelines
Perform or assist with any additional assignments as required
The Research & Development (R&D) Intern requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering Chemistry Biology Computer Science or related discipline)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of research methods and data analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint); knowledge of specialized software is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Travel: Position does not require travel.
Physical Functions/Environment:Physical requirements involve performing general office activities.
