Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Converting Full time For Right Candidate)
Job Location: South San Francisco CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join the Synthetic Molecule Analytical Chemistry team. This role involves characterization of drug substances (small molecules peptides and oligonucleotides) development and execution of analytical methods and data interpretation to support drug discovery and process development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute analytical methods including chiral and achiral HPLC
  • Perform testing and characterization of drug substances and delivery systems
  • Analyze interpret and document experimental data in lab notebooks
  • Troubleshoot analytical and technical issues
  • Support method development and new technology evaluation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in drug discovery and process chemistry

Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC and chromatography techniques
  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and data analysis
  • Familiarity with techniques such as UHPLC-MS GC UV KF CAD (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment
Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Chemistry Pharmaceutics or Chemical Engineering
  • 03 years of experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutics solid-state characterization or drug discovery is a plus
