Responsibilities
1. Conduct research or development activities following prescribed protocols or procedures.
2. Document procedures followed and notes results discrepancies or deviations.
3. Compile and evaluate results for scientific/project staff to review or interpret.
4. Operate a variety of scientific equipment to conduct project activities.
5. Collaborate with scientists or project leaders concerning project activities observations and safety procedures.
6. Assist with intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Biology Chemistry Medical Technology or related discipline required or combination of work experience and education.
Experience: One year of related experience in a research laboratory required.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Complete understanding and wide application of principles theories and concepts and general knowledge of other related disciplines.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
This is an on site position at our facility located at: 15601 Crabbs Branch Way Derwood MD. 20855
Pay Information:
The annual salary for this position is $70000.00- $75000.00
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
Physical Requirements
Depending on work assignment may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand walk and manipulate (lift carry move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination arm hand and finger dexterity including ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential.
