Research Associate Chemistry

Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Associate - Chemistry at its Detroit campus location.

Synthesis design and lab execution of organic transformations involving structurally complex compounds;

Thorough familiarity with 1D and 2D NMR Spectroscopy including the acquisition and analysis of 1D and 2D NMR spectra;

Strong lab techniques in handling air- and moisture-sensitive compounds; working knowledge of GC-MS and glovebox operation;

Knowledge and full adherence to lab safety regulations and practices; detailed lab notebook keeping.

M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemistry
